Terms and Conditions of the HOMA 2026 Congress

Congress Registration Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before registering. Completion of registration and payment of the registration fee constitute acceptance of all the terms and conditions set forth below.

1. Congress Registration Fee

2. Registration for Educational Workshops

Registration for the workshops is separate from congress registration and requires payment of a separate fee.
Each workshop has a maximum capacity of 30 participants, and registration will remain open only until the capacity is reached.
Due to the limited capacity, priority will be given to participants who complete their registration earlier.

Workshop Registration Fees

Up to one month before the congress: 3,000,000 tomans
From one month before the congress until the day before the event: 4,000,000 tomans
On the day of the congress (subject to availability): 5,000,000 tomans

Note: Once the workshop reaches full capacity, registration will no longer be available.

Congress Registration Process: Registration for the congress must be completed in two steps:

1. Registration on the Congress website: ircpr.com

2. Registration on the Continuing Education website: ircme.ir

Note: Workshop registration is separate. Applicants must select and register for their desired workshops separately.

3. Accuracy of Registration Information

All information entered in the registration form will be used as the basis for issuing the identification badge, certificate of attendance, and certificate of participation in the congress.
Participants are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during registration, including their first and last name, national ID number, participant category, medical council registration number, and any other required information.
In the event that incorrect information is provided or a participant category inconsistent with their actual status is selected, the congress secretariat reserves the right to correct the registration, deny the provision of related services, or require payment of the applicable fee difference.
If any discrepancy in the provided information is identified, the congress secretariat shall have no obligation to issue a certificate or grant continuing medical education (CME) credits.

4. Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits

Applicants seeking Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are required to register through the Continuing Medical Education (CME) system and accurately and completely enter their medical council registration number and all other required information.
The granting of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits is subject to compliance with the rules and regulations issued by the relevant authorities, as well as attendance in accordance with the applicable requirements.
Registration through the Continuing Medical Education (CME) system alone does not constitute authorization to attend the congress. Applicants seeking CME credits must register for the congress in addition to completing their registration through the Continuing Medical Education (CME) system.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Once registration has been completed and the fee has been paid, the amount paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Registration through the Continuing Medical Education (CME) system alone does not constitute authorization to attend the congress. Applicants seeking CME credits must register for the congress in addition to completing their registration through the Continuing Medical Education (CME) system

6. Accommodation

The congress will be held at Shiraz Rose Hotel. Participants who wish to stay at the hotel may arrange their room reservations through the congress secretariat. Congress participants are eligible for up to 40% off accommodation rates, subject to the hotel’s terms and availability.

7. Catering

Refreshments, including tea, coffee, and other beverages, will be provided according to the congress plan.
Lunch is not included in the registration fee. Participants who wish to use the lunch service may do so by paying the applicable fee.

8. Registration and Attendance at the Congress

Participants are required to arrive at the congress venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the program on the day of the event to complete the check-in process and receive their identification badge.
Participants are required to present a valid identification document (national ID card or other valid identification) at the time of check-in.
Entry to the congress halls and educational workshops will be permitted only upon presentation of the identification badge issued by the congress secretariat.
In the event of a lost identification badge, the participant is required to notify the congress secretariat.

9. Certificate of Participation

In the event of a lost identification badge, the participant is required to notify the congress secretariat.
The information stated on the certificate will exactly match the information provided in the registration system. Once the certificate has been issued, no amendments will be possible.

10. General Regulations

All participants are required to comply with the congress’s rules, regulations, and operational procedures.
The congress secretariat reserves the right to make changes to the scientific program, lecture schedules, educational workshops, or venue, when necessary.
In the event of circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, such as unforeseen incidents, legal restrictions, or emergency situations, the congress secretariat shall have the authority to determine how the congress will be conducted.

Rules and Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract. Submission of an abstract constitutes acceptance of all the terms and conditions outlined below.

1. Originality of the Abstract

The abstract must be based on original research conducted by the authors. The authors are responsible for the scientific accuracy and ethical integrity of its content.
The abstract must not have been previously presented at another congress or published under another person’s name.

2. Authors’ Responsibilities

The corresponding author is responsible for entering the information of all authors accurately and completely.
The information submitted through the system will be used as the basis for issuing the certificate of abstract presentation. Once the abstract submission deadline has passed, no changes to the submitted information will be permitted.

3. Review Process

The corresponding author is responsible for entering the information of all authors accurately and completely.
The decision of the Scientific Committee regarding the acceptance or rejection of an abstract, as well as the determination of its presentation format (oral or poster), shall be final and binding.

4. Abstract Acceptance

Acceptance of an abstract constitutes acceptance for presentation at the congress. The corresponding author is required to be present at the congress venue at the designated time.
In the event that neither the author nor a designated representative is present, the congress secretariat may remove the abstract from the presentation program.

5. Congress Registration

Presentation of an abstract is contingent upon the confirmed registration of at least the corresponding author for the congress and full payment of the registration fee
Acceptance of an abstract does not constitute free registration for the congress.
Acceptance of an abstract does not grant any exemption from the congress registration fee or workshop fees. Presentation of the abstract is contingent upon the confirmed registration of the corresponding author for the congress.
If the corresponding author does not complete the registration by the announced deadline, acceptance of the abstract will be withdrawn.

6. Publication Rights

Submission of an abstract to the congress secretariat constitutes the authors’ consent to the publication of the abstract in the congress booklet, on the official congress website, in the proceedings, or in other official congress publications, with full acknowledgment of the authors’ names.

7. Best Abstract

The best abstracts will be selected based on the total scores awarded by the reviewers and will be announced and recognized during the closing ceremony.
The decision of the Scientific Committee regarding the selection of the best abstracts shall be final.

8. Other Regulations

The congress secretariat reserves the right to request scientific or editorial revisions prior to final acceptance of the abstract.
Submission of an abstract constitutes the authors’ acceptance of all congress rules and regulations.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission Requirements

All physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, students, researchers, and other interested individuals are invited to submit their scientific abstracts on topics related to cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emergency medicine, critical care, anesthesiology, trauma, CPR education, and other related fields through the congress submission system.

Abstract Structure

The abstract must contain a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 1,500 words and should include the following sections:
Abstract Title
Authors’ Full Names
Corresponding Author
Institutional Affiliation
(University, Hospital, or Healthcare Center)
Introduction
Study Objectives
Methods
Results
Conclusion
3–5 Keywords

Acceptance Criteria

The abstract must not have been previously presented at another congress.
The authors are responsible for the accuracy of the submitted information and the scientific content of the abstract.
Submission of an abstract constitutes the authors’ agreement to the congress review process.

Review Process

All abstracts will be reviewed confidentially by at least two members of the Congress Scientific Committee.
Based on the scores received, abstracts will be classified into one of the following categories:
Acceptance for Oral Presentation
Acceptance for Poster Presentation
Rejection
The decision of the Scientific Committee regarding the final acceptance category shall be final and not subject to appeal.

Best Abstract

Following the completion of the review process, the abstracts receiving the highest scores will be selected as the Best Abstracts of the Congress and recognized during the closing ceremony.
Selected abstracts will also be published in the Congress Booklet and, at the discretion of the IJMS journal reviewers, will be given priority for publication in the journal.

Abstract Presentation

The corresponding author is required to be present at the congress venue at the designated time to present the abstract or display the poster. Failure to attend will be considered a withdrawal from the presentation.

Important Notes

After final submission, abstracts may be edited only until the abstract submission deadline.
The date, time, and presentation format of accepted abstracts will be communicated through the submission system and via SMS.
A certificate of abstract presentation will be issued only for accepted abstracts that are actually presented at the congress.
